Founder, Peter Belegris started his journey in the jewellery industry as a trained watch maker in the 1950's, in Montreal.

By 1957 his passion for gems and fine jewellery grew, and led him to opening his first store on Mont-Royal Ave. After spending 21 years in Montreal, in 1978 Peter decided to relocate his family to BC, where they ventured into a different business.

Peter's love of the jewellery industry didn't fade. By 1981, he opened a Jewellery Wholesale/Retail division in Vancouver. He displayed such passion and dedication for each piece of jewellery he created. His training in watch making inspired great patience and attention to detail, which he loved to share with his clients. Peter would discuss in detail exactly how their fine piece of jewellery would be created.

In 1984, Peter Belegris reopened Gold Star Jewellers at it's present location(Delta) where they continue the family legacy of fine workmanship and dedication to serving their clients with honesty and integrity.
